How practical would it be if ChatGPT had a built-in prompt generator?
That’s exactly what I implemented in my project “PromptHop.” With just one button, you can launch an interactive prompt generator right from ChatGPT, offering different templates you can fill in as needed.
The idea is simple:
A Chrome extension adds a sleek button to the ChatGPT interface. One click launches a lightweight Python app whose UI is built with Gradio – a Python framework that has matured over the years into a really excellent tool.
Within the app, you can select and fill out any number of freely configurable templates. The generated prompt is then passed directly into the ChatGPT UI.
Minimal effort – and an extremely useful tool for everyday use!
