About HOWdoAI – and about me

HOWdoAI is a platform for everyone who wants to understand how artificial intelligence really works – beyond buzzwords, hype, and tech skepticism.
The goal: to explain complex AI concepts in a accessible, precise, and practical way – so that people not only marvel at it, but can confidently work and automate with it.

I show how artificial intelligence – especially language models like GPT or transformer architectures – actually “think,” how to use them effectively – and how technical curiosity can turn into real understanding.
It’s not just about theory, but about how AI can automate real tasks in practice, improve processes, and take work off our hands.

The content is aimed at developers, product owners, automation strategists, students, educators – and everyone who doesn’t want to stop at “prompting.”

My motivation

Artificial intelligence will profoundly change our work, communication, and systems. But to use it meaningfully, we need more than just buzzwords:

You have to understand what’s happening inside.
Only then can you use this technology responsibly, strategically, and professionally – and turn it into concrete, useful automations.

HOWdoAI is therefore more than just tutorials:
It’s an invitation to stop seeing AI as magic – and instead see it as a tool that can be understood, shaped, and purposefully integrated into real-world processes.

My name is Oskar Kohler. I’m an AI generalist and specialist from Bregenz, Austria – with a passion for technology, system architecture, automation, and knowledge sharing.

I work at the intersection of:

• and explainability of complex systems

Goal: to help people and organizations not only use AI, but truly understand it – and productively automate with it.
